How it works
Broadcast units are constantly sending marketing content via Bluetooth® to mobile phones of your Customers. The transmission is totally free and requires no technical knowledge from your Customers. The only requirement is Bluetooth®-enabled mobile phone of the Customer.
· Phase 1, Device detection: Unit scans for Bluetooth-enabled device located in a range up to 100 meters (about 300 feet) depending on environmental factors and mobile phone type.
· Phase 2, Permission request: for every device, the unit sends request for permission of sending files. It looks like: Would you like to receive a message from BlueMedia? (Actual display varies by phone model)
Phase 3, Content upload: once user grants permission, the unit sends files. Multithreaded software architecture and multiple connectivity options, sending files to one Customer will not stop detection of new Customers walking by the unit
